Description:  20905 and 20901 working a light engine movement from Doncaster to Crewe on the 09-26-11. Originally built in the late 1950/60’s by English Electric Co, these Bo-Bo locomotives where refurbished in 1989 by Hunslet Barclay.

Title:  class 33/2 33207
Description:  33207 seen here working an empty stock move from Carnforth to Crewe on 05/27/11. Built in the period 1960 – 62 by Birmingham Railway Carriage & Wagon Co. This loco was built with a slightly narrow body to work the Tonbridge to Battle line in the South East of England where the gauge is restricted.

Description:  37425 seen working a Runcorn Folly Lane to Warrington train on 04/30/10. This loco was built as D6992 during the 1960-65 period by the English Electric Co primarily as a freight engine. It was modified in 1985 and fitted with electric train heating to work passenger trains.

Description:  47237 was photographed working an empty stock working from Carnforth to Crewe on 10-14-11.Built in the period 1962-67 by Brush/BR, fitted with a Sulzer 12LDA28C 2580HP engine and designated Type 4 by British Rail. This class was rapidly withdrawn from service when the Pendolino trains came into operation.

Description:  47500 working a stock move from Southall near London to Carnforth in North West England on 09/29/11. This loco has had a few numbers over the years including D1943, 47500 and 47770. Originally built in the 1960’s and rebuilt around 1993 with Remote Operating equipment for working Push-Pull trains.

Description:  57601 this loco was originally built in the 1960’s by Brush/BR. In 2002 it was modified with electric train supply to work with modern passenger, stock now owned by West Coast Rail and based at Carnforth it is pictured here working a Carnforth to Gloucester empty stock train on 06//24/11, tucked away on the rear and out of sight are two class 20 locos 20308 and 20309.
